Te Whare Tapere is a whare toi based in Ōtautahi, Christchurch. Dedicated to promoting and supporting toi Māori and ringatoi. The space is home to a range of creative kaupapa, including exhibitions, performances, movement, wānanga, and kōrero. A multidisciplinary, Indigenous house of storytelling, Te Whare Tapere is a warm and inclusive space. It is a place where mātauranga is shared, where people gather, create and connect.
